Stick Bond Fibre System

The Stick™ fibres used in the laboratory side of the Stick Bond System consists of thousands of pre-impregnated parallel glass fibres. These fibres are wetted with a polymer resin (Stick™ Resin) before use. Also available is Stick™ Net, bidirectional fibre netting for the construction of copings and the reinforcing of acrylic dentures. The unidirectional fibre bundle is strong enough to withstand posterior occlusal forces in the mouth and can be very successfully employed in the construction of multi-unit posterior bridges. The fibres can be polished as smooth as any composite if ever they are exposed for instance as when the occlusion is adjusted. No special cutting devices or instruments are needed to cut or manipulate these fibres. Aesthetically restorations manufactured by employing the Stick Bond System are in a class of their own, due to the fact that it contains no metal that can affect light transmission.
