What will these procedures cost?

Fibre reinforced composite restorations are very cost effective. For example: a huge reinforced composite restoration will cost about R600.00, and a crown will cost about R1 800.00. Another example: a traditional bridge cost about R3 800.00 and a fibre reinforced direct or semi direct bridge will cost about R1 900.00.

Will my medical aid pay?

The amount that the medical aid (insurance) will pay differs between the options chosen by you. In some instances it will cover the total amount, but in some cases you will have to pay the excess, again, depending on your specific option. We strongly advise that you get a written treatment plan and a cost estimate from your dentist before treatment commence. Submit this costing to your medical aid and find out if there will be any access payment to be made by you.

Will it be painful?
